Workshop on Prevention and Settlement of International Investment Dispute

On the 09th and 10th of October 2015, a workshop on Prevention and Settlement of International Investment Dispute was held by the Vietnam Ministry of Justice and the USAID in Thanh Hoa, Vietnam.

The workshop was chaired by the Vice Minister, His Excellency, Mr. Nguyen Khanh Ngoc, the participations of Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien – Deputy Director of the Department for International Law, Mr. David Anderson – Project Director USAID / GIG, Professor David A.Gantz – Expert of the projects and representatives from the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Finance, the State Bank of Vietnam, International arbitration centers in Vietnam, Lawfirms, departments for judiciary and civil judgment execution and the local authority for Planning and Investments.

At the Workshop, our comments on the draft report of the Study on International Investment Dispute Settlement by Vietnamese Court and Arbitration was presented by Lawyer Nguyen Manh Dzung the firm’s Managing Partner which gained much attention of the participants.
