Ms. Dang Thi Ngan is an associate in Dzungsrt & Associates LLC – Ho Chi Minh Office. Her practice focuses on all types of shipping dry and wet work including cargo claims, demurrage and detention claim, disputes arising out of bills of lading and transport documents, bunker dispute, the exercise of liens, ship arrests, shipowner’s limitation of liability, collision, salvage, oil pollution, and wreck removal.

She obtained her LL.M Degree in International Shipping Law at Queen Mary University of London. It is indisputable that the UK is considered as a shipping hub of the world where English law is heavily relied on throughout the maritime world by the contracting parties and London is often chosen as the forum for the resolution of any arising maritime dispute. Therefore, she can get comprehensive knowledge about the shipping industry related to the carriage of goods by sea. Additionally, she is the only student in her shipping course to be a research intern at the International Maritime Organisation of United Nation in 2018 where she can get a global vision of logistic and international trade, obtain the unique opportunity to gain exposure to the work of specialized United Nation agency through meeting IMO experts and observe the proceedings of committees or governing bodies of the Organisation.

Being well academically trained on the shipping law at one of the top law school in the world as well as acquired extensive practical experience related to the shipping industry such as conducting a marine survey and compliance officers at the insurance company has advanced her to give prompt and helpful advice and practical support to her clients including leading international shipping law firms, P&I and H&M underwriters, foreign shipowner as well as top multinational shipping lines in the worlds.
